Day 1. Arrive Bishkek, Kyrgyzstan. 8 hours/480km

On arrival in Bishkek, the bustling capital of Kyrgyzstan, you will be met and transferredto Karakol. Today your adventure takes you along the North shore of LAKE ISSYK-KUL to KARAKOL, via 11th-century BURANA TOWER, and ancient Silk Route staging post, and the prehistoric PETROGLYPHS at Chopon-Ata. Lunch in café or roadside yurt (the Kyrgyz equivalent of motorway service stations) is included. After lunch you will be transferred to the jetty, where a pleasure boat will be waiting to take you on a 2 hour cruise along the Issyk-Kul Lakeshore. Overnight at our Yurt Camp Arista in the center of Karakol Town upon arrival.

Day 2. Chon-Kyzyl-Suu

After breakfast you will be transferred to Chon Kyzyl Suu valley (50km from Karakol) and begin your horse trekking. After a few hours of riding you will have a camp in the forest under the main ridge Terskey Ala-Too. This good place is famous with hot springs.

Day 3. Djety-Oguz

Today you will reach At-Jailoo valley and go over Jyluu-Suu pass (3400m). The camp is again in the forest and near the rivers Djety-Oguz and At-Jailoo. The altitude for overnight is 2500m.

Day 4. Djety-Oguz

Your day for riding up along the river to the wall of Oguz-Bashi five-thousand peak. After that you go back to the camp and prepare for the next day.

Day 5. Karakol gorge

Horse riding over the pass to Karakol valley, where ski-base of Karakol town is situated, is the task for today. This valley is using for picnic time on holidays by people of town. Here you can see the small popular peaks for beginners in mountain climbing. Camp is in forest on altitude 3000m.

Day 6. Karakol Glacier

Your riding will take you towards highest peaks of Terskey Ala-Too today. Karakol Peak with glacier and Djigit Peak will meet you this afternoon. You will see the moraine left to the valley as cross the river of glacier. There is a place full of noise of avalanches from peaks. After a day tour you go back down to the camp for overnight.

Day 7. Altyn-Arashan resort

Today is a day of riding to the valley of Altyn-Arashan resort. This resort is famous with its Hot Sulphur Springs. Your evening is at leisure and having bath in this lovely spot. Camping in tents or in a local guest house optional.

Day 8. Altyn-Arashan

The day of your relaxation and enjoy the surprising nature around. The valley is attractive with its wonderful mountains and nature. This place is famous worldwide with its beautiful forests and lovely places for camping. Full day of excursions and swimming in the natural sulphur Hot Springs.

Day 9. Karakol

Today your morning is for your own exploration of this place of for visiting baths again and afternoon you ride down along the river Arashan to the village Ak-Suu. Then you go to Karakol town. Accommodation in Arista Yurt Camp in rooms or Yurta.

Day 10. Bishkek. 7 hours/410km

Today you must bid farewell to this isolated corner of Eastern Kyrgyzstan. A comfortable car or private minibus (depending on group size) will be waiting to bring you back to Bishkek. This time you will be driven along Issyk Kul’s wild Southern Shores, completing your circumnavigation of the second largest alpine lake in the world. The road hugs the water’s edge and winds through remote Kyrgyz villages of wooden chocolate-box cottages, against an arresting backdrop of the majestic Central Tien Shan Mountains. After a short stop in Balykchi for lunch your journey will continue via Boom Gorge with time to stop and take photographs. On arrival in Bishkek you will be accommodated in guest house/Hotel for your last overnight in Kyrgyzstan.

Day 11. Bishkek – Depart for home. 2 hours/30km

After and airport transfer you will depart for home, taking with you many spectacular memories of your visit to Issyk-Kul region and mighty mountains of Kyrgyz Republic.
