Description
Day 1 Ayu-Tor valley
From Karakol you will be driven to famous DJETY-OGUZ, where mottled red cliffs and boulders are split to form the 'seven bulls' of the valley's name. You enter the forest road and drive along the river. The Valley of flowers is your stop and you begin trekking. Ascent on Western Ayu-Tor
Day 2 Gastello pass (1B, 4005 m)
Ascent up the valley to the glacier. Reach the pass. Descent by the glacier till Telety valley. Camp by the river near Chon Tash (Big Stone).
Day 3 Cheskie Stoyanki
Ascent along On-Tor valley. From the plateau you will see Karakol peak (5281m). Hike till the glacier to the foot step of the peak. At the tongue of the glacier we set the camp.
Day 4 On-Tor pass (1B, 3900 m)
Ascent on moraine by On-Tor glacier. Descent on the glacier. There might be curves in some parts of the glacier, the rope will be necessary. By the glacier Wester Kel-Tor (Djigit) descent to the valley of Kel-Tor river. Camp.
Day 5 Sirota
Descent along the valley of Kel-Tor river till the junction with Karakol river. Along Karakol valley descent to the old alpinist camp. Cross the bridge, and go to the East in Kurgak-Tor valley. You will climb up to an altitude of 2900m to the forest oasis of SIROTA (meaning "orphan" thanks to it's location in the middle of a barren, rocky valley).
Day 6 Under Takyr-Tor Pass
By the trail we ascent to «Baranie lby» (Sheep foreheads), behind is Ala-Kul Lake. Along the Lake we reach Takyr-Tor glacier. Camp
Day 7 Takyr -Tor Pass (1B, 4040m)
By the Takyr-Tor glacier we ascent on the saddle of the pass. From the pass descent to Takyr-Tor valley.
Day 8 Altyn Arashan valley
After breakfast you will descend to the valley of ALTYN-ARASHAN. The resort at Altyn-Arashan is famous for its HOT SULPHUR SPRINGS. Your evening is at leisure for taking bath in this lovely spot. Overnight in camp.
Day 9 Karakol town
Today you will descend along the river ARASHAN to the village of AK-SUU. Transfer back to Karakol, where your tour finishes with plenty of breathtaking memories to take home. Accommodation in yurt in Yurt Camp
