Arrive at Osh International Airport. After clearing customs and collecting your baggage, you will be met by a representative from Ak-Sai Travel, who will provide you with all the necessary documents and permits. The drive to Achik-Tash Base Camp takes you through the picturesque Alay Valley, where green meadows stretch beneath the towering peaks of the Pamir Mountains. Along the way, you’ll pass remote mountain villages and sweeping alpine landscapes, a perfect introduction to the wilderness that awaits. Upon arrival, settle into your camp and enjoy the crisp mountain air as the sun sets behind the rugged peaks.

Day 2: Acclimatization Hike – Ridge of Petrovsky Peak (4200 m)

Today, you have the option to embark on an acclimatization hike to the ridge of nearby Petrovsky Peak, reaching an elevation of 4200 meters. The trail winds through alpine meadows and rocky slopes, offering stunning views of the sprawling Alay Valley and the Achik-Tash basin below. From the ridge, the sweeping panorama of jagged peaks and distant glaciers provides a taste of the adventure ahead. Alternatively, you can choose to spend the day resting at Base Camp, organizing your gear and mentally preparing for the ascent to Camp 1. Evening relaxation, dinner, and overnight in Base Camp tents.

Day 3: Base Camp – Traveler’s Pass – Camp 1 (4400 m)

After breakfast, you will continue your journey towards the foot of Peak Lenin. The first section of the route leads you to the Traveler’s Pass at 4150 meters, a moderate climb that typically takes 1-1.5 hours along a well-trodden trail. From the pass, you are rewarded with breathtaking views of Peak Lenin’s majestic northern face and the immense Lenin Glacier, a river of ice stretching down from the high peaks. The descent from the pass leads onto the left moraine of the glacier, where you will continue your gradual climb for another 3 hours. Here, the landscape transforms into a surreal world of ice and rock, with the steady roar of glacial streams echoing off the cliffs. After carefully crossing a meltwater river, you will arrive at Camp 1, set against the dramatic backdrop of towering ice walls.

Rest, dinner, and overnight in Camp 1.

As you climb, the landscape opens up, revealing stunning views of the northern face of Peak Lenin and the vast Alay Valley below. The summit provides a breathtaking vantage point, where the scale and power of the Pamirs become truly apparent. After taking in the views and capturing the moment, you will descend back to Camp 1 for a well-deserved rest.
