Some of destinations are within the Kyrgyz Border Zone. To go over there requires a Frontier Permit which is issued by the Kyrgyz authorities via touroperator.

The Border Zone is a strip of about 50km established along the Kyrgyz-Chinese Border:

Apply for a Kyrgyzstan Border Zone Permit online

You can apply for a Kyrgyzstan Border Zone Permit fully online through Arista Travel. You do not need to visit our office to submit the application: send us your travel route, travel dates and a good quality scanned copy or photo of your passport by e-mail or messenger.

We accept remote applications from travelers in Kyrgyzstan and abroad, including Russia, Kazakhstan and other countries. Payment can be made by bank transfer from any country.

Please note that the border zone permit itself is an original physical document with official stamps and signatures. After the permit is issued, you can pick it up at the Arista Travel office in Karakol, or we can arrange delivery within Kyrgyzstan: to your hotel or guesthouse in Bishkek, to Osh (please add 1500 som for delivery to Osh), or to another agreed location in Kyrgyzstan.
